Acute Behavioral Health Programs
Brynn Marr Hospital offers short-term assessment and 24-hour supervised crisis interventions to individuals who are experiencing acute symptoms of a behavioral health or substance use disorder. Our treatment programs provide comprehensive assessments by a licensed clinician, solution-focused interventions and diagnosis education.
Patients are expected to attend all their daily program sessions. The treatment team includes an assigned physician, acute clinician, nurse and recreational therapists. Patients meet their treatment team regularly to discuss treatment and progress. We encourage family, guardians and anyone else invested in the patient’s success to participate in the recovery process.
Discharge planning is initiated at admission and revised throughout the patient’s stay. Each patient develops a written aftercare plan with the participation of their treatment team and family. It includes recommendations for further treatment and the scheduling of follow-up appointments. Every program includes access to a gym and age-appropriate courtyard.
